Learning The Lesson

Debra in blue blouse

Recently I’ve been thinking about the life experiences we encounter in our own lives and wondering if we ever really learn anything lasting from them? In my book, Enlightenment-Looking Back To Move Forward, I share a number of lessons I learned through my own experiences and how those lessons have impacted my life to this very day.  Although I hope to never repeat some of the lessons from my past, I think if they are forgotten, it will be easier to repeat the pattern.  Life lessons are not always easy to teach and they certainly aren’t always easy to share with others, but when we do share, it helps those who will listen.  I have found that people aren’t always willing or able to learn from others, but I think it is our responsibility to keep trying.  My life lessons may not be the same as yours, but there are some common things we all experience that help to keep us connected to one another.  If you haven’t had the opportunity to read my book, I am encouraging you to get a copy at: https://www.createspace.com/6857376.

You can also pick up a copy of my book from the Gathering Awareness & Book Center, 314 North DeVilliers St. in Pensacola, Florida. Make sure you Like my author’s page and let’s talk about our life lessons together at the Back On The Blocks celebration, November 3-4, 2017, in Pensacola.  I look forward to seeing you there!
