February has been designated as the month of “Love.” However, when you look around at all the unpleasant things that are going on in the world today, it can leave you wondering if there is any such thing as love.  The Bible in I Corinthians 13, teaches us that “Love is kind; love is patient; love is unselfish and not too proud.  It also says that love cares about the feelings of others more than your own feelings.”  Although I am paraphrasing this scripture, I am not over-stating the intent.  Love should not just be a word we use loosely, but it should be a word that comes from the heart with a multitude of actions behind it.  Don’t just talk love, show love. The way you can let someone know how much you care is by what you do.  A little love will go a long way when applied to every situation you encounter.  A box of candy is nice.  A bouquet of flowers is nice too, but giving of yourself is even better.  Free yourself so you can show more love.  When you do, you’ll be glad you did!!!
